A long flight is mostly waiting. Seatback shows how much of it is behind you. Type in your flight before you board, tap when the wheels leave the ground, and the glasses keep your place until you land.

It works from the clock, not from staying open. Take the glasses off, sleep, and when you look again it knows where you are.
